BeautyBooker welcomes its first student placements of 2021

Andreea Gheorghita & Kirstin Brown will join BeautyBooker as Content Managers for the next 12 weeks as part of our annual placement scheme with Robert Gordon University.

Founder of BeautyBooker Kate Stott says: “I am thrilled to have Andreea & Kirstin join us this year. They are both wonderful girls and I know they will  be a real asset to us over the next 12 weeks.

Although we are offline with our apps just now due to Covid restrictions, we are extremely busy behind the scenes supporting the industry via our Covid Support Group and aligning what the industry requires going forward via the iOS platforms and our training hub.”

Andreea says:

“I chose Beauty Booker as a placement opportunity because I believe in the power that the beauty industry has over all the people in the world, especially over women.

The makeup, skincare routines or various hairstyles are tools that can change the way a woman feels about herself: more powerful, attractive and ready to conquer the world. And I wanted to be part of this industry, to gain more knowledge and learn from professionals.

I liked Beauty Booker both as a business idea and as a concept: to make a woman’s life easier by helping her to find the perfect salon appointment in a short time.

In the next months, I look forward to writing interesting articles for the blog, but as well to conduct interviews with specialists from this industry. Moreover, I look forward to creating new collaborations between Beauty Booker and specialists/influencers from this field and to also come up with PR ideas for the brand’s image and social media. I want to learn and help this industry to go through difficult times, such as the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Working with talented and skilled students will be part of our long term vision for the company as we grow. I feel it is vital that we introduce real-life business experience to the younger generation.” – Kate Stott, Founder of BeautyBooker Limited

Kirstin Brown

Kirsten shares with us why she chose to work with BeautyBooker this year –

“My name is Kirstin and I’m a Journalism student at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. I choose to work with Beauty Booker for my work placement because I have a love for fashion, beauty and lifestyle that I want to share through writing. I’m looking forward to learning more about the beauty industry, developing my journalistic skills and supporting those in the industry through Beauty Booker.”

Thank you, Andreea & Kirstin, for choosing BeautyBooker as your 3rd-year placement.

We are lucky to have you.
